Acoustics
The activities within Metacoustics Pty Limited encompassing general acoustics, include Architectural Acoustics, Environmental Acoustics, Industrial Noise, Aircraft Noise, Road and Rail Traffic noise measurement and control. A series of special equipment has been compiled and is available for all aspects of noise surveys. A special mobile laboratory has been set up to measure environmental noise in such a way that ground and other reflections can be eliminated from the survey and thus provide true noise measurement values for specific noise sources.
Aircraft
and Train generated noise present significant problems in developed
urban areas. Metacoustics specially equipped mobile laboratory can cope
with any condition and provide real time noise evaluation measurements. 
The ability to place the monitoring instrumentation close to the noise source, as required in some environmental and special monitoring projects, and/or well above the reflecting surfaces is often an advantage.
